SCAN is a research group focused on evaluating the role of vascular disease in cognitive impairment and
dementia. Our collaborators and partners are varied, but consist largely of
members of the Johns Hopkins Cerebrovascular Center and the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research.
Our research combines neurology, cardiology and epidemiology to explore the
complex relationship between cardiovascular and neurological health.
